Study Abroad
For Global Studies Majors
As an integral part of the major requirements, Global Studies students have to participate in study abroad (6 weeks or longer), an internship (100 or more hours), or the Foreign Language Immersion Program (FLIP). More information is available in the Global Studies Student Handbook (PDF), or by e-mailing a Global Studies Advisor.
The Learning Abroad Center (LAC) is the central UMTC office for study, work, internships, and volunteering abroad. LAC and the Institute for Global Studies have collaborated to created a special Study Abroad Advising Sheet (PDF) specifically geared toward Global Studies majors.
